### ***Arda is an** StableETF **for Global Flourishing.***

An investor in ARDA seeks to maximize **moral returns** with knock-on financial effects.

According to Investopedia, an exchange-traded fund, or ETF, is a type of pooled investment tool. that tracks a particular index, sector, commodity, or other assets. ETFs can be purchased or sold on an exchange, such as a stock exchange, and can be structured to track specific investment strategies.

Outlined in this section are the mechanisms by which the Arda StableETF and the ARDA share token will be managed. First, we will define the [**Arda Index**](/arda-taking-crypto-beyond-economics/mechanisms/the-arda-index.md), the six indicators for global flourishing that it tracks, as well the reasoning why these particular indicators were chosen.

Next we will explain how volatility in the Arda Index will impact the price of the ARDA share token through the [**Mint & Burn Protocol**](/arda-taking-crypto-beyond-economics/mechanisms/stableetf-a-mint-and-burn-protocol.md). This process is the key to accomplishing our goal of tying the Arda StableETF ecosystem to the pace of global progress.
