ETFs can be purchased or sold on an exchange, such as a stock exchange, and can be structured to track specific investment strategies.

Outlined in this section are the mechanisms by which the Arda StableETF and the ARDA share token will be managed. First, we will define the [**Arda Index**](/arda-taking-crypto-beyond-economics/mechanisms/the-arda-index.md), the six indicators for global flourishing that it tracks, as well the reasoning why these particular indicators were chosen.&#x20;
