Freedom

The Freedom input to the Arda Index is the Global Freedom indicator published annually by Freedom House, with the 2022 edition tracking developments in 195 countries and 15 territories.

We do not endorse any particular political framework or system of governance. However, we believe that freedom of opinion and expression, and the rights to life and liberty are essential to human flourishing. Including these fundamental freedoms and human rights in the Arda Index ensures that our community prioritizes, tracks, and advances the growth of freedom anywhere and everywhere.
